(ca·ri·tas [kär′ē täs′] noun. meaning love for all people).
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Mystic Krewe of Caritas was founded to provide AIDS education to the community and financial support to AIDS Alabama through fundraising and wish list drives. Its main community fundraiser, a Mardi Gras Bal Masque, is the primary fundraiser for financial donations from the community.
Vision Statement:
Through both leadership and stewardship the Mystic Krewe of Caritas supports AIDS Alabama and its clientele gather financial and material resources in addition to providing AIDS education to the general community.
Motto:
In necessary things, unity; in dubious things, liberty; in all things, charity.
